While Celine’s collection was presented in large, chunky brush strokes being carried on the shoulders of particularly miserable-looking models, their bags practically jumped up and embraced you with their vibrancy and creativity. Maxine Simoens’ was chic and cool in a 60s-vibe sort of way, fully embracing the figure-hugging and the short-short trend. Kenzo was a lot more fun, particularly the kitsch-nautical flavoured pieces.
